Moved the site to Squarespace
So far it's been a really amazing experience.
We were using Wordpress before it's a nice CMS the one huge issue I had was compatibility within it's own system. Let me explain.
Plugins and updates to wordpress.
I love the open-source aspect but in some ways it's the whole too many cooks in the kitchen kinda thing. One plugin gets updated and then one previous plugin stops working. Or the plugins gets updated almost every day. It's a tiring experience. I felt like updating and trouble shooting wordpress issues were taking up most of my time.
Then when there's an update to wordpress the plugin might not even work again or the developer of the plugin might have moved on or have another job so it takes time to get an update for usability sake.
In comes Squarespace
I'm loving it. No more back end work or tinkering. It just works. Now I can actually focus on more of what i'd like to create or do with this site.
So keep an eye on the site there's a lot more to come.
Thank you Squarespace
